Our History

Gagnon Line Construction was established in May 1999 when Miguel (President/Owner) made the decision to purchase his first digger truck. The business began by focusing on pole installation and removal, but quickly excelled and therefore Miguel decided to expand his services focusing more on powerlines. The company has since grown and continues to grow exponentially in size and status. 

Gagnon Line Construction provides pole line construction and maintenance and is actively involved in providing Storm Restoration Services in different areas of the Northeast United States for Central Maine, Unitil, New Hampshire Electric Co-op, National Grid (NGRID), Long Island Power Authority (LIPA), New York State Electricity & Gas, Connecticut Light and Power and Baltimore Gas and Electric. We also provide services in Eastern Canada for Nova Scotia Power, New Brunswick Power and Hydro Quebec. 

Gagnon Line Construction has obtained the contract for operations at one of the three Municipal Utilities in the Province of New Brunswick. We provide all services to the Utility including Engineering, Tree Trimming, Pole/Line Construction & Maintenance, Metering and 24/7 coverage for trouble calls. 

Gagnon's expanding equipment fleet consists of more than 100-line vehicles, off-road tracked vehicles, back lot machines, etc. which allows us to effectively meet our clients' needs for distribution, storm restoration and ongoing maintenance. Our fleet vehicles are well equipped with the latest safety equipment that meet or exceeds the Canadian Standards Association and the American Standards Institute Standards.
